Traditional Uses:
- Can both stop and start blood flow
- Fresh leaves were historically used to staunch wounds by Roman soldiers due to her strong antibacterial and clotting qualities
- Tincture or oil can help heal cuts, bruises, and abrasions
- Can help induce sweating to clear infection, particularly when added into a bath and/or brewed as a hot tea
- Can encourage the flow of stagnant blood

Tinctures not suitable for use during pregnancy due to alcohol content
